Introduction to History Delete Feature
In this article, we will introduce you to the History Delete feature.
The History Delete feature periodically deletes history information stored in Hinemos DB.
The feature deletes history information including the following four types of information.
・Monitor (Event) History
・Job Execution History
History information will be deleted if it is stored longer than the retention period at the time deletion is performed.
This time, we will take an example of monitor (event) history deletion to explain.
First of all, click on the “Create” button in the Maintenance [History Delete] view in Hinemos Client to display the Clear History [Create/Modify] dialog.
This time, we entered “0” in the Retention Period field as shown below, and configured the setting so that ”confirmed” event history will be deleted at 16:00 on May 11.
The history retention period must be specified in days. History information output before the specified retention period ending at the time of history deletion will be deleted.
If “0” is entered in the Retention Period field, history information output before 0:00:00 on the day of history deletion will be deleted.
This time, “confirmed” event history output before 0:00 on May 11 will be deleted at 16:00 on May 11.
Next, we set event history output between 18:05 and 18:10 on May 10 to “confirmed” as shown below.
We confirmed history deletion was performed at 16:00 on May 11, as shown below.
We checked event history, and confirmed only history output between 18:05 and 18:10 on May 10, which is “’confirmed’ event history output before 0:00 on May 11” specified in the setting, was deleted as shown below.
That’s it for the brief introduction to the History Delete feature.
